Drew and Cindy are co-directors, counselors and ministers. Before moving to the Haft, they lived in Central America helping children, teenagers and families heal. Drew is a licensed therapist, pastor, and trainer for parents. He has a masters degree in clinical psychology from Wheaton Graduate School.
Cindy smiles all the time! She joyfully leads people to healing in Christ through singing, listening and peer counseling. She works with girls, teenagers, mothers and groups. Cindy is a chef for our many guests who request that service. She has prepared a meal to serve 45 people, so meal preparation for large or small groups is a service that can be provided.
Galen and Phyllis are two of our warm, smiling missionaries helping the Haft. They served in Central America for 28 years so speak fluent Spanish. Galen and Phyllis have been married for 53 years so have experience, wisdom and counsel to share with families and couples. Galen works part time in maintenance.
Kendall and Elisa have fostered and adopted children, so they can help families through the issues that come with taking in children. They enjoy praying with people and are gifted at helping people heal from personal struggles.
Paula is a researcher and clinician. She provides an extensive array of diagnostic assessments and evaluations so people receive a full understanding of the issues and how to heal.
Judy and Alonzo (affectionately called Bunky) are our Pastoral Couple serving our ministry team and guests. They help everyone feel the love of Jesus, learn and practice the Bible, and have a listening ear. Judy is a peer counselor, mentor for wives and mothers, and a prayer intercessor for those she helps.
Tia serves in our Aftercare program as a mentor for females who graduate Haft healing programs. She is available by phone or videoconferencing helping people walk out their newfound freedom and joy in real life.
Scot and Pheny run an exceptional marriage healing program. They pastored a local church for over 20 years and are also help our guests through personal ministry, prayer and pastoral care. They are missionaries building healing programs in Kenya. Scot is an ordained pastor.
Luis and Sarita serve as our Spanish ministers. Before coming to the Haft, their family suffered persecution in Honduras from gangs and understand what trauma healing is and how to help others. They are also gifted teachers and are willing to share their story and what they have learned in Churches.
Shannon is our grant and newsletter writer. She is also a missionary and nurse who cares deeply for kids and families. Shannon is from Tennessee so has a fantastic southern accent!
Jenny is our administrative assistant who is also gifted at helping females who come to the Haft healing from trauma. She prays with people, listens well, and will show you that she really cares.
