We can provide you with a refreshing and fun get-away in God's country! Stay as long as you can and choose any services that suit you the best. If you want, we can also provide your group with singing with guitars as well as devotionals that help you go deeper and spark awesome conversations.
Come on an Individual, Marriage Retreat or Pre-Marriage Retreat
Individuals (adults, young adults, teens and kids), as well as married couples come here to get refreshed and restored. We also provide pre and post marriage counseling by a licensed therapist. Other services available include SoulCare with a Bible mentor, Healing With Horses, therapeutic animals, and other Christ-centered therapies and ministries. People's lives really do get changed here!
Come for our Family Transformation Program
Our heart is that whole families transform. We work with children, teens, dads and moms individually at first, then as a whole family unit so everybody hears each other and changes together. We have experience working with large and small families, including extended families, support groups, and agencies who refer people here. And we make house calls!
Tell your husband to come to our Better Husband + Dad Program
If your husband needs a little work learning how to be a better spouse and father, we are really good at that! We love to work with men who are ready for things to get better. We help men open up about issues privately he's never been able to talk about, so he changes publicly. You will be impressed by how much he changes.
Every women could use our Women's Discipleship Program
We have a house specializing in helping women change for the better and mature in Christ. This is an all-women's house led by a humble female leader specializing in helping females. We run this program in 2 week intensives that can be renewable. Come for 2 weeks and check it out!
Events
Small and large groups come and enjoy God's country with beautiful outdoor areas and cozy indoor areas. We have hosted weddings, baptisms, youth groups, Church groups, leadership groups, family reunions, and other events. We can provide fun indoor and outdoor games such as volleyball, pickle ball, badminton, whiffle-ball, cardboard boat races, etc.
Fishing, Boating + Hunting-
Yes, our fishing and hunting is that good! Our 10 acre pond features bass, catfish, crappie and sunfish. We have fishing poles and bait we make here that you may use, and we provide canoes and kayaks. People also like to disconnect the floating dock and paddle out on the pond to fish. That's especially fun for children! We have 15 acres of hunting land across the road, plus state game lands next door, that has great hunting.
Funny story: A wife tricked her husband into coming to a Marriage Refreshment Weekend by telling him it was a fishing weekend. He got hooked! He came and did enjoy fishing. He also sat in on the marriage teaching where his life and marriage was radically transformed. Now he and his wife are volunteers at the Haft!
Horses + Therapeutic Animals
We have many people come to be with our awesome animals. We have a horse expert on staff that will personally help you bond with the horses. We have 1 miniature horse that kids love. We also have therapeutic animals and funny birds such as rabbits running all around, goats, ducks, chickens, peacocks, guinea hens, etc. They come running when you offer them food - so we have animal feeding stations. Bring your quarters!
Hiking, Trail Biking + ATV Trails
We welcome people to bring their hiking boots, bikes and ATVs. Come enjoy our mountain trails. The trail around the pond is about 1 mile. We have Scriptures and benches along the trail so people can sit alone with God and refresh.
